Not only do we have so much clean-up to do on the house, we also have some unusual lawn ornaments that were left on the property. Just before we got possession of the property, rumor has it that the previous owner drove one to two dozen campers off the property. So the resulting leftovers must have been what he was unable to get started. There was one Dodge camper left.

This poor camper has definitely seen better days. Not only does it not start, but animals (most likely raccoons) got into it and ripped up all the seat and bed padding.

Back in the day, it must have been a cute little camper. There’s a bed above the driver and passenger seats that you climb up into. It has a bathroom, kitchen, and tiny sitting area.

I don’t know, what do you think? Can you see a vision for this? With the house, we have a clear vision of what we want it to end up looking like. But this…I’m not so sure. But it would be really cool to have a camper! (I may have caught Chris mumbling something about tailgating.) We’ll keep you posted on what we decide to do.

The next items we need to deal with are two crane trucks. Being that there are trees growing directly up through them, we’re guessing they haven’t been used for years.

They’re big. They’re heavy. Some of the tires are flat and some are sunken into the ground a good 8 inches. There are no keys in them. Getting one of these running would be a pretty sweet toy for the acreage. We could use it for tree removal, disassembling the machine shed, or even taking off the second story of the house! Unfortunately, just like the camper, they are not titled to us. We’re trying to figure out all those details. They never teach you in school how to deal with abandoned property when buying a foreclosure.
